Re-Cycle has sent WYCE
Our mission revolves around a close collaboration with our partners to efficiently schedule container shipments based on the availability of bicycles and suitable timing. These 40ft containers are meticulously packed with more than 500 bicycles and numerous spare parts. The selection of spare parts sent is determined both by our partner’s specific needs and our current stock, which comprises entirely of donated items.
The involvement of Re-Cycle bicycles has played a pivotal role in funding various initiatives. This includes a fundamental cycle-to-school program.

Empowering Students Through Access to Education
In rural Gambia, access to education is one of the most significant challenges students face. For many, attending school requires walking long distances, often in dangerous conditions.
The Cycle-to-School programme, a collaboration between Wonder Years Centre of Excellence (WYCE) and Re-Cycle, aims to change that by providing students with bicycles, making their journey to school faster, safer, and more sustainable. Now, with the latest results in, we can see just how impactful this initiative has been.
