Bicycles for Ex-Inmates
A Bicycle Handover Ceremony was held at Mumbwa Correctional Centre for graduates of the Skills Training Empowerment Project for Inmates (STEP-IN), marking a major milestone in supporting rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates and former inmates into society.

In 2025, Care Providers Foundation (CPF), in partnership with Prisons Future Foundation and Re-Cycle, provided 50 bicycles to graduates who completed vocational training in:
-
Metal fabrication
-
Carpentry
-
Tailoring and design
-
Agriculture
-
Bricklaying
These bicycles are more than a means of transport. They enable graduates to travel to work, reach clients, and access income-generating opportunities — practical tools that support long-term reintegration, sustainable livelihoods, and community safety.
