2023 Impact Report
For over 25 years, Re-Cycle has been tirelessly sending bikes to Africa, totaling over 145,000 bikes and hundreds of thousands of spare parts. Throughout this journey, these bikes and spare parts have been instrumental in transforming the lives of thousands of individuals in rural communities across Africa.
Where Our Bikes Go
We’ve expanded our network to include five partners across Africa: Ghana, Zambia, South Africa, The Gambia, and Sierra Leone. In 2023, we dispatched 21 containers to these countries, exceeding our initial plan by 4 shipments.

From empowering local bicycle mechanics to rescuing thousands of bicycles from UK landfills, our sustainability endeavours have made a lasting impact in both Africa and the UK.
