Changing Lives, One Bicycle at a Time

At Re-Cycle, we provide communities with the chance to earn, learn and enjoy life through the simple power of a bicycle.

We collect quality bicycles that would otherwise go to waste in the UK and redistribute them where they can make the biggest difference.

In these areas, a simple bicycle can be life-changing, providing essential access to education, healthcare, food, water, and economic opportunities.

Our mission is to change lives through bicycle re-use.

one bike can change a life

For Abena in Ghana, the journey to school meant a three-hour walk each day, often leaving her exhausted before lessons even began and making it harder to focus on her dream of becoming a nurse.

A simple bicycle has since transformed her daily routine, improving her attendance, energy, and confidence in her studies.

“I hope more students can receive bikes to transform their journey like mine.”

More than just a bike

By providing sustainable, affordable, and reliable transport to rural communities, Re-Cycle helps unlock practical solutions that reduce poverty, improve health, and create pathways to brighter futures for individuals and families.
