In The Gambia, many of the bicycles distributed by our partners are sold locally. The funds raised directly support local healthcare facilities — helping to maintain clinics, purchase essential supplies, and train community nurses. Zambia
Re-Cycle has also helped source wheelchairs for a medical centre in Zambia. Previously, patients had to be physically carried to the wards due to a lack of wheelchairs. This simple but vital support has greatly improved dignity, comfort, and care for patients.
