Organise a Bike Collection

One of the biggest ways your Rotary Club can support Re-Cycle is by organising a local bike collection.

It’s a fantastic way to bring your community together while helping give unwanted bikes a second life. Encourage local residents to donate bikes that still have life left in them, and we’ll work with you to make the event a success.

The bikes you collect can help improve access to education, healthcare and employment for people in Africa, while also keeping perfectly usable bikes out of landfill here in the UK.

Every donation helps us collect, prepare and ship more bikes to our partners across Africa.

While our volunteers generously give their time, there are still essential costs involved in transporting bikes, maintaining our warehouse, and getting bikes to the communities that need them most.
