A Partnership Built on Purpose: Celebrating £15,000 with Chimney Fire Coffee
Since partnering with Re-Cycle in 2020, Chimney Fire Coffee has donated more than £15,000 to support our work, helping provide life-changing bicycles to rural communities across Africa.
As a certified B Corp, Chimney Fire Coffee is committed to using business as a force for good. Through their Discovery Coffee, they donate a contribution from every sale, turning each cup of coffee into real, lasting impact.
Their latest donation of £3,500 (covering April 2025 to March 2026) will help fund more than 100 bikes giving even more children the opportunity to get to school, access education, and build brighter futures.

Chimney Fire Coffee is a specialty coffee roastery based in the Surrey Hills, founded by Dan Webber in 2017. After spending several years working in coffee and cocoa traceability across the tropics, Dan developed a passion for ethical sourcing and creating positive change throughout the coffee supply chain. Today, the business is dedicated to sourcing exceptional coffee while supporting environmentally and socially responsible practices from farm to cup.
Dan has seen first-hand the difference reliable transport can make, having lived and worked with cocoa-growing communities in Ghana—one of the countries Re-Cycle supports through our bicycle shipments. That shared understanding of the importance of mobility has made our partnership a natural fit.

Dan Webber, Founder of Chimney Fire Coffee, said:
“As a B Corp, it’s important to us that our work creates genuine, lasting impact. We’ve been proud to partner and collaborate with Re-Cycle since 2020, supporting a charity that provides practical solutions to real challenges.
Through our connections to coffee-growing communities in Africa, we understand how vital access to transport is. Re-Cycle’s sustainable, community-led approach aligns closely with our values, and we’re excited to continue growing this partnership.”
The support doesn’t stop at fundraising. Chimney Fire Coffee also keeps our team, volunteers and even our African partners fuelled with occasional deliveries of their fantastic coffee, which always goes down a treat!
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of Chimney Fire Coffee and look forward to continuing this partnership, helping more people access education, opportunities and a brighter future through the power of bicycles.
