From the 1st – 28th September we are asking you to jump on your bike and take on the challenge of riding one of four routes for Re-Cycle Bikes to Africa.
Whichever way you choose to ride, inside or outside we want you to pedal the extra mile, get fit and help us to change even more lives.
Every time we send a container to our partners in Africa, we fill it with around 500 bikes, spare parts, and tools. It costs £28 to send one bike and we are asking for your support in helping us to raise funds, so we can continue sending bikes to those in need.
A bike for many is their only mode of transport and our bikes have been a lifeline for many people, especially during the global pandemic. Helping families to get food supplies, water and to receive medical help.
The challenge
From 2.8 to 2,800 miles, you can complete it however and wherever you want, over the duration of 28 days.
